General archive is not Obama hate corner.
If you have any real arguments/facts - it is OK to share but not the messages which have no any other arguments just hate with no any real facts. And please compare it to other presidents. You cannot complain that Obama uses presidential plane while Bush and Cheney were using it all the time. Yes, all presidents use tax-payer money, sometimes they have to, sometimes they abuse it.

No, that is not true. I post about autism, which is something that I believe I have the most knowledge about. I read the polish posts to learn. And I "comment" on what I see as hypocritical.
There is an old saying here in the US; "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen". That means if you can't take criticism, don't dish it out.
In short; If you want to allow politics discussed in this forum, then you must allow both sides, not just your's.
My forum on autism does not allow politics unless it is legislation about autism. This avoids the controversy. We keep to the subject of autism.
If you allow it there will be controversy. This is called FREE SPEECH. Live with it, ban politics all together on this forum, or ban all of us who don't agree with you.

I wanted to quote a part of the article by Frank Shaeffer. He is a son of a very known religious evangelist. He states that Republican party changed. The right had once been led by people like James Buckley and Senator Barry Goldwater who stood for the separation of church and state. The religious right, as it emerged in the late 1970s -- and consequently the Republican Party it took over -- was all about religiously-motivated "morality" which it used for nakedly political (and fund raising) purposes. This was a throwback to an earlier ugly time when 1930s fascist xenophobic hate-mongers like Father Charles Coughlin and his vicious anti-Roosevelt radio program were influential.
Father Coughlin would have loved today's congressional Republican leadership. He started a radio "ministry," moved it steadily to the populist right, then identified the "enemy"---in Coughlin's case Roosevelt, in today's Republican's case -- President Obama. Coughlin yesterday, Dobson and Limbaugh, Coulter today: new names, same hate.
In the 1970s and 80s the leaders of the religious right were gleefully betting on American moral failure in the way Limbaugh and the Republicans are now rooting for Obama's (and America's) economic failure in 2009. If secular, democratic, diverse gay-tolerant and pluralistic America survives, then wouldn't that prove that the Republicans are wrong about God only wanting to bless a "Christian" (white!) America of low taxes, and unregulated markets?
What began to bother me back in the 80s was that so many of my new "friends" on the religious right seemed to be rooting for one form of apocalypse or another. In the crudest form this was part of the evangelical fascination with the so-called End Times. The worse things got, the sooner Jesus would come back. But there was another component: the worse everything got the more it proved that America needed saving, by us!

I want to hear some real arguments, some logic, not just a hate with stupid jokes about Obama being associated with terrorists, devils etc. I do not see any arguments in your hate-posts.
Do you believe that this economy could be healed just by tax-cuts?

Poor Jaga, You are still young and naive. And by the way, the Huff post is not exactly a reliable source for facts. It is more of opinions. Aside from that.........given time, you may have enough experience in real life, that over time, you might weigh the facts more accurately. I only wish you well as you develop a more open mind.

Which is a right source? Was the source of the stupid joke about Obama cereal a serious source?
I would like to hear what is your solution for healing the economy. It went down drastically last Fall by the way. We had a different president then.

You are only succeeding in creating thousands of Kosovos. You are not enlightened and you are not "saving us" You are a cultural destroyer and I regret the day you set foot on my soil. You need to get away from the University/Feminist crowd for a while and learn something of this country. Why dont you just make this forum private so you and a few cronies can talk about how smart and tolerant you are. You need to work on your cultural and personal self- loathing.

Whoa, Whoa everyone. This sure sounds like a family squabble to me. I lived about 6 Miles from "The Shrine Of The Little Flower" in Royal Oak and my sister graduated from "The Shrine" high school. The Nuns there were very formitable and great teachers. Yes Father Coughlin was on the radio but he is long gone now. When he did give his speeches, they were mostly against Blacks and Communists and many of them where hateful. Jaga you are going to have to learn what the word "Faciast" means before using it wildly. Let us not forget that Communism, Socialism, Nazism and "faciast" mean all the same thing. They all mean Liberalism run amok and are extremely Left wing in nature. LOL
