Charles, I have nothing against you, I only dislike all those nutty things that you have been showing to us for two days now.

I like you and that`s why I am really concerned. If I didn`t like you, I would just ignore you as one more freak.

But I don`t ignore you because I am worried.

What has gotten into you, man???

Charles,
You sound very much like Wayne! He is keeping a very close eye on this situation.

Does Wayne also dream of blowing off people`s ears?

Oh, for Pete's sake how could you even come up with such a questions? This is very much like the old chestnut, "Have you stopped beating your wife?" red herring.
it is obvious that what I was responding to in Charles' post was the analysis of the political situation in Kosovo. You chose to read something into my statement that was not there.

Dear Holly, I admit the question was unusual, but don`t worry, I almost knew your answer beforehand.

But I had to ask it because I felt disappointed when nobody had reacted to Charles` another silliness about blowing off ears or reloading a pistol before somebody`s face. I thought that at least some women here would intervene.

Nobody did.

Why?

I can`t understand it.

Holly has done nothing to you. She has with honesty and in good faith, contributed to the forum for the common good. And your constant disagreeable words are not commensurate with the expected quality of contribution.

Please in future be of good will to others. If you carry a great dislike to me, then please only keep these vile remarks to the two of us and at similar, be mindful of the feelings of others.

{mind not of Kai not of here, there is no difference}

Charles

I don`t know what you are talking about. I just asked a simple innocent question after Hollister declared that Wayne thinks like you.
My question should be developed then, if you didn`t understand it:

Does Holly`s husband, Wayne, support blowing off people`s ears in Charles`s style?

Pawian

I was to think of your situation and that of our situation in a war zone. What we conducted out of necessity is not normal in a normal world.

And you were not subject to observe what the young man had done with several of his army group against an Albanian family. The young man I used a pistol against his ear.

Well, it matters not now. But what this young was caught at. He and several of his army buddies did. They broke into a Albanian home. Forced the family out into the snow yard. Several then rapped the woman, then shot her infront of her husband. They then took the 2 children, with a hammer, crushed their skulls and left all the bodies as they lay.

The kapitan I shot the ear off, I will not describe what he conducted, he deserved far more then what I conducted with his loused ear.

These two combatants were of selective to our group for interrogation. This will take between 2-3 hours. The process is active of initial advising of process they will be faced with. We have a fact sheet of known answers {they are not aware of}

{The interrogation process our department differs from that of NATO}

It is a 3 part process. The initial interrogation is the non-sense fairy tale. We then advise them of this, and begin the 2nd phase with check list of known information against what is being told.

The 3rd phase is the final {it had best be good} generally the subject person is truthfull to the extent of their knowledge as they know at this stage, there is no return in real life {if they are caught by their people, they will not live so long}.

final phase: they are photo graphed with side view/frontal view. Finger printed: full roll prints/hand print/side hand print. Full information: date of birth/location of birth/school attended-all/previous address/occupation/training/height/weight with physical demensions/name of parents, their known address and occupation.

The subject individual is given the option if they wish to work for us, we will then make ready with all options to release them for return to their units. They are given the method of access to us for information they have gathered, in return, they are given payment commensurate to the value of their gathered information.

At end of their service, they are {will be} forwarded to any country they wish to reside in. This for protection of them selves and of their families for their service to us.

Perhaps one of these people is your neigbour, and you are teaching their children, never know for sure...

Our rotation period of assignment was for a period of 8 months only. We are then reassigned to desk work for purpose of rest and reoreintation into normal life.

What ever you have to say, is fine, I understand. I do not ever wish ever to again face an assignment in that sewer pit of humanity.

I have left out the tractor dug mass graves the Serbian military left behind.

As a general rule. I restrict my description of experience to only that of military people. For civilian people lack the knowledge of experience to understand the casual brutality of a war zone.

I have made a mistake in disclosure that I will not in future make.

Gentlemen,

Let me answer that question you threw out.....

Although at times the conversations got rather heated, to me it would be almost comical if the subject were not so serious. You're all trying to "one up" each other like a bunch of little boys.

Frankly, it has just gotten to sound like a bunch of bull crap, and we women are too smart to get into a hornets nest.

**But.........I still like you all! ;)

(Holli...get out while you can)

Charles,

Thank you for the nice compliment for us women, but don't limit your conversations due to my observations!

I would never put the brakes on free speech!!!

I just couldn't help myself but to answer honestly.

Charles, I don`t believe a word that you have written here. I mean I know such things have happened here and there, but if you had been really involved in it personally, you wouldn`t be bragging about it in the forum today. Such information is strictly confidential and all intelligence officers swear to keep such operations in secret, even when they are retired.

As a German, you certainly feel obliged to abide law. You wouldn`t do anything against military intelligence rules, so it is obvious that the things you are writing about are not of your personal experience, but somebody else`s or even taken from spy thrillers.

But why you are doing this is a mystery to me. Who do you want to impress?? Me, or women in the forum?

Stop it, please, it is so infantile that I am starting to seriously doubt the sane state of your mind.

PS. You must have read quite biased spy thrillers. The things you described, all those rapes and other, did take place in the Balkans, especially in Bosnia. Serbs were indeed war criminals there (Srebrenica).

However, in Kosovo, the Albanian separatists also fought a dirty war against Serbs and there were incidents of war crimes on Serbian civilians prior to Serbian expulsion of Albanians, the act which caused NATO intervention.

But to know this you must read other books hahahahahaha

Yes, if it wasn`t so seriously written, I would also laugh at Charles` bragging. Indeed, it looks like small boy`s talk.

The problem of Kosovo remains unresolved because of the lack of common sense among those who were meant to resolve it! I have said from the outset, that Kosovo should not be made independent, but that it should be divided in two: 49 % to the Albanians, and 51 % to the Serbs, not for demographic reasons, but in obeisance to history! My advice was not heeded right after the NATO intervention, when the time was right to implement it. At that time, in spite of population imbalance in their favor, the Albanians were willing to settle for less. Now the Albanians want the whole thing, and the world, as always, keeps on wabbling! I am not a Serb, and therefore this isn't my business. But my business, as a human being and Christian, is the avoidance of bloodshed. So I again say to the Powers-That-Be: go back to the drawing board, and try to implement the plan that I have been proposing!

TGA

I do agree with you on this. Your suggestion of a compromise would be highly workable as a foundation of peace in that region.

The Serbians are firm in resolve in determination as not to give up Kosovo. The Albanians are as equal in resolve for their Independence.

With the economic risk Serbia is taking in concerns to contractual agreements with the Russian Federation. For the time, The Russians are appearing patient for the Serbs/Albanians to find their own peace. But at this time, the clock is marking time.

Whilst on the opposite of the coin. For why not for independence of Kosovo? People need and require their freedom. Let them have their own state.

http://www.reliefweb.int/rw/RWB.NSF/db900SID/SHES-76KN6V?OpenDocument

As a means of maintenance of regional peace, it has been necessary for the governing of Kosovo since year {1999} by U.N. Administration. This has been a cost of removal of approximately 40.000 Yugoslav troops by military operation and placement of approximately 600.000 ethnic Albanians into their exile.

For the present, it would appear for some years irregardless of out come, a U.N. presence will be required for maintenance of security in this region.

What you have suggested is previously in the works. It is my resolve not every of description of my work.

I do agree with you for switch of other subject. I realize my comments are not so prevalent, but I do enjoy your photo presentations of life around you. you are a people person and is exampled by the smiles of those around you in your photos.

Am I over nice and over condescending?
