 Some bilingual books to read
« Thread Started on Apr 3, 2008, 1:21pm »

People started to buy some Polish-English books from Millet through my website. I did not know these books, so I asked the publisher to send it to me. They are pretty cool. I really enjoyed this one:

Minutka: The Bilingual Dog
http://www.amazon.com/Minutka-Bilingual-....olishculture-20

you can look inside. It is a very elegant and simple book. Ela enjoyed it very much. It is promoted as a book for children but the graphics is so elegant and I think it can be read by everybody and it can be bought as a souvenir.

you can see inside this book (if you click a link to amazon) to see its pages

The other books they send me are good for learning Polish. You can see I wrote the reviews:

Nice books and writeup, Jaga. I have a few children's books from Slovakia. One in particular, a geography book, sure helps with my vocabulary!

Kai,

children books are sweet for adults to learn a foreign language sometimes.

Jim, these books are probably too basic for your level :)
