They are young and German. It reminds me of the Schlager Festival that was on Germany television in the eightees and probably the ninetees and this century too. When I switched chanal with the Remote control I sometimes switched to the ZDF chanal and then that program with German Folk music was on it. I knew my father was allergic to this kind of music (war generation, German music, which reminds him fo the singing German soldiers), so naughty boy, I sometimes pumped up the audio volume. My dad (with a red head): "Put of that G'd d**n music."

Alpine music is usually happy music, it is very enjoyable. And especially if played by those two very lovely and talented young ladies. {Jung und Fresh} means {young and Naughty}.
My ex and her family were Swiss, and this music was most always in the house. It also was happy music for the most part with much yodeling.

You were such a naughty little boy then But naughty little boys grow up to be adventurous young men with many talents and much energy...
As of your self, I also like accordion music. Non of us were skilled in musical instruments in our house, but we had friends that were very good, it was Scandinavian Norwegian and Danisch and would make your feet tap whilst sitting. On a holiday it would be dancing and much food as to be had. Unlike in Germany across the border {post war}, we had the products of dairy/fish/swine/goose/chicken and vegetables from our large gardens. Fruit was not that available but could be obtained through careful trade with the occupational British.
The British military people were for the most part, very fair and treated us most politely, they were easy to like.
It was not until the late 50s after crossing back into Germany to hear alpine music other then on our battery powered radio. I have always enjoyed it. But, there is a difference between the sound and depth from where for the origin.
For instance, the Alpine music from Austria is more raucous and harsh then that of the Swiss. In as well of Alpine music of Bavaria is more, or so it would seem, good beer music with much hoompa.. I like it...it creates the warmth of people, happy time, and good beer.
It is just my personal impression to express. It is still quite very difficult to exchange all above from the smells and feelings whilst with good friends and,,,Accordian music well played with the clarinet accompanying.

This was a big hit in the Netherlands and Germany where it reached number 2 in the Top 40 and nr. 1 in the Austrian and Swiss and Swedish Charts. It is due to the fact that a lot of Dutch and Germans move to Austria in the Winter to ski and that it had the Yodeling aspect and the Tiroler cliché of the frivolousness of Alpine girls in traditional dress dirndl dress.
Alpine stile parties were popular back then in local disco's in rural area's and towns where people dressed up like Austrians. It also had ofcourse a naughty charcter, and like real Bavarian beer fests people drunk a lot of beers and Stroh rum from Austra. The Stroh rum is a killer, because of the very high alcohol percentage.

You have such good memory! Yes to Stroh! Indeed so. For some reason, this would cause very bad depression if to drink too much. So, as a remedy, it was Korn brandy or one of the dark beers that is so delicious in Vienna.
I had a BMW motorcycle with side car {motorrad mit Beiwagen}whilst not only economical to operate in petrol, it was fun. Once across the border crossing, the machine was for the most part, invisible other then a glance or two.
Austria is most beautiful, some what as approach to the mountains is very close in appearance to Switzerland. It is fun to travel these alpine roadways in summer and fall time. Spring may be tricky for left over frost spots and thaw caused soft spots in the roadways.
