Thank you for sharing your photos, for they are wonderful in photo journalism. As a person, I was not aware of the NZ topography, for it is indeed both very mountainous and beautiful.
Very excellent file photos of your self as show and tell! But gollies, what a climb to reach the location...

Jaga,
From what I see from your images I love New Zealand. It looks like I could live there. Beautiful mountains like Karl says. English culture, European atmosphere and society, cities and country, seems a perfect spot to be.
Hope the original (authentic) Maori culture stays in tact though. I don't like to much melting pot. I love original pure cultures!
For instance I like Poland because it is Polish and not a melting pot like Holland.

Franz Joseph glacier: it is getting smaller unfortunately: Jaga looking at our Wanaka glacier - since there is a wind and humid climate I look similar to native New Zealanders - Maori:
