Mark Kohan (main editor of Polish-American Journal) posted lots of pictures in his facebook profile, not sure whether you can see it, so I posted it into my facebook profile also: www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=207867919227689#!/profile.php?id=1601724924 the demolition was done really cheap and disrespectfully: As I joined hundreds of others who came to say good-bye to our former parish, I was appalled to see the pews still inside the church. My anger grew as I then saw the confessionals and other woodwork intact. The final insult came when another gawker pointed me in the direction of a painting of the Sacred Heart, of which the head of Jesus had been torn off by falling debris. Former parishioners asked to buy the pews, but were told they were already “allocated.” When I questioned why the woodwork was not removed, I was given the excuse of “asbestos concerns.” One day after photographs of the torn Sacred Heart painting made its way on to the internet, the wall it was painted on was removed. ampoleagle.com/index85.htm

Guys,
what do you think? I think it was done really poorly.

yes, it is not just disrespectful, but conducted with total disdain for the religious sensitivities of others. A very willful and disconcerting manner of disfigure of religious artifacts and destruction of same.
In the manner of sensitivities, it would have been best to have the paintings and religious symbols removed in a sensible manner to avoid any negative public sentiment.
