Franek80, Dziękuję panu bardzo! Myśllę panu jest tak miły! Many talk of BABKA here, but we never used the term and I've not know exactly what they are referring to. I've been eating this same recipe all my life, and as you say, with butter, it is just delightful and indeed food for kings! I take the half loaf she gives me, cut it into individual slices then freeze them. Then, just pop them in the microwave for a few seconds and I've got a Kings Breakfast for another week or so! It's what I ate for breakfast this morning! Mom's is a little sweeter then Babcia's, but they were all good. Going to give the recipe a try in January myself for the first time. Want to get a lesson from the "master". Dziękuję znowu.

I'll make sure to knead well as instructed. As for the recipe, I love my Busia's recipe, and can always cut back on the sugar to make it just like she did.
Now, as for the Challah, that might be something I'd like to try, with the seeds on top and all. It looks DEVINE!
Thanks again!
