Are there more males or females in the world?
Who knows? This is actually not an easy question if you take into account all the consideration: age, preference for certain sex etc

Globally, I think there are a bit more women than men.
But here? I'd say there are more men, am I right?

From what I've read, more males are born than females, but more die at a young age, so it kind of evens out after awhile. There's an old wives' tale that when a large number of males are born, it means there is going to be a war. If it's true, we might be in trouble. The second grade in the school where I work has 7 classes and in all 7 there are around 13 to 15 boys and maybe 5 to 6 girls!

More men than women are born naturally. On the other hand men usually die earlier than women, so in the developed countries there are usually more women than men since the dominance of women increase with the age.
But in the developing countries (sometimes they show so called piramides - how many people live in the country depending on age and gender) there is much more youth and then much more boys than girls. Additionally, in the poor countries with the culture which favors naturally men (Bangladesh, India, China) - there is also more men than women. In these countries also many women still die giving the birth....
so, globally taking all these factors in the account it is estimated that there are more men than women alive in any time on the Earth.

I always heard there were never enough men to go around for us woman. (still looking) ;D Think about it differently Glen Beck who you watch sometimes is a mormon, that means that he believes in a celestial marriage (behind the grave). In the other world there are MUCH MORE men than women since much more men were ever "concepted" and born, so we would have a big choice in the other world.... unless more men are in hell does it make any sense for you? Just joking,
