Although I didn't post it earlier I was thinking the same Jaga when I view Leslie's photos (compared to mine)
Leslie is that your garden in the forefront. Your poor flowers are still outside. I thought you brought them in for the winter. I also got plenty presents for Christmas already so don't be sending me anymore.

Your poor flowers are still outside. . ;D ;D ;D that's an example of the notorious English 'cold-raising'. Like the English infants with naked and blue legs in their prams in March. While in Poland we have it the opposite manner. The infants are sweating under thick covers till May...........

No that is my neighbour's plot which is about 25% of mine in size as they had a conservatory built onto the back of their house which takes up this large proportion of their back garden. They're too idle to take their plants in, then the next year complain about why they are dead!!!

Livia this is so true. I remember my mom when we were little. She dressed us to death. If you ever saw the movie "Christmas Story" where the boy is dressed up in a snowsuit and falls on his back like a turtle and can't get up cause he is unable to bend his arms..that was my two brothers. I remember taking my nieces to the movies to see it and told them that was your dad when he was little. And a story they told me was how embarrassed they were when they would go to school and on health day they died from embarrassment cause they were the only kids who were dressed to the hilt wearing long underwear under their pants and matching for the top.
My story was when I was little I was very sick with a high fever and my mom made me stay in bed...covered me with a giant heavy pierzyna and me dying of heat. Each time I stuck my foot out my mom managed to catch me and told me to get my foot back in. I don't know which was worse...being sick or the torture of the heat. ;D ;D ;D
