20/7/14: International and Palestinian volunteers accompanied Civil Defense and other rescue crews, as well as family members, into Shujaya, in an attempt to locate survivors of overnight and ongoing shelling by the Israeli army. A young Palestinian man, in a green t-shirt, who hoped to reach his family's home, was shot by an Israeli soldier while crossing an alley between buildings. Two additional rounds struck him as he lay injured on the ground.

Pieter, thank you for the update. I am so tired of the doublestandard. The newspaper would write about a couple of ISraeli soldiers dead or kindapped and then at the end about hundreds of Palestinian civilians dead. It is insane what is going on. At least in the case of Malasian airlane everybody is on the same page, maybe except Russia but they do not want to admit to any wrongoing. In the case of Palestinians nobody really cares and in the US there is the idea about blaming the victims that means Palestinians. Israel is almost boasting how great it is and how righteous they are.
