Sunset in Franconia Notch The road on the left is I 93 going north to the left. It is the way we go to Colebrook or to Camp.

The area is so mountainous as to be just beautiful. In back ground is what appears to be forest management harvesting timber with strips of intact tree rows to serve as protective barriers for the newly planted seedlings. Hopefully the soil will hold with out washing out from seasonal rains.
An excellent photo of the area you are visiting and nice family drive.
Thank you for sharing

Thank you for sharing Karl Karl, The area on the right is Cannon Mountain. Those are ski trails that you see. On top you will notice a square looking building. That is where the tramway docks at the mountain top. From there you can ski any trail down, depending on your expertise. www.cannonmt.com/

Thank you for the correction, for I was mistaken and should have known better. Aside from that, with a better look, it looks like fun to be there. It has been so many years it would seem, to have skied, now it seems as if a long past dream.
Thank you for the correction and the new close up photos
