Might as well tag onto my own posting with a few additional language observations. Though it is worth commenting that the selections in the first photo are selective, obviously leaving out many and ending with the exception just for fun. The second photo is also selective, and unfortunately does not include the Polish dog "Wau Wau", as I remember it from my neighbor... and the German has regional variations, so I imagine that happens in other languages as well. I was rather captivated in going though www.facebook.com/polyglotsunitedthe source of these items. Allow for the normal Human good intentions as well as inacuuracies.

Kai, Poland in Hungarian sounded always funny for us. It means directly "the state of Lechites". But if you look at how Poles call Hungary, Italy or Germany, this is also quite unique. ALthough Germans are called similarly in other Slavic languages. By the way, the difference in dogs language is always fun to see

Lots of Polish and Tamil is spoken in London..... I used to work with a Tamil boy, so it reminds me the old times.
