Hello guys,
we have a nice trip to Boise, Idaho which is Idaho capital. I am sorry that I did not write anything for 3 days but I did not have the internet connection. John has a Chemical conference here and he did take his laptop with the wireless connection but he cannot activate it from our hotel room.
We are right now in the Idaho historic society library and it seems that they have plenty of computers waiting for me.

In the first day Ela had lots of fun, we went to ZOO and to the Discovery-science pavillon and also to a couple of other places. Yesterday we saw the old penitentiary here in Boise. Today we were trying to see the botanical garden which should be opened but it is not.... it is a bit warmer here than in Idaho Falls.
We will be back in IF on Thursday evening.
Greetings to all!

I do not think that anybody saw my post from Boise because somehow it was moved to different forum. So I have to refresh this message. I am happily back from Boise where we had a good time. But I am still quite busy

Welcom back Jaga Sounds of a good time for your self and Ela, a little exploring in a strange city is fun. The expected, unexpected and the little treasures you find along the way. But, no matter the travel, it would so seem, it is always good to return to what is familiar, {home}. Charles

Glad to hear the short trip was a nice relaxing venture, Jaga! Showing children around and sharing their discoveries is a very pleasant way to take time and enjoy things we might otherwise skip in our 'adult' lives.

Boise is becoming to be a very nice town. It is not too big and not too small. I think, here in IF I feel sometimes claustrophobic because this town is small and there is no way you would not meet somebody you know at any big gathering. Boise has a very nice downtown, with several streets having caffeterias, good food. They have even a drinking event on Thursdays - "After five"
