This was so very sensitive and precious, what a delightful gift these caring people gave to Chelsie. Not only the worldly things, but of their hearts.
Thank you for presenting.

Kitty rescue: Homeless cat praised for saving abandoned baby in Russia January 17, 2015 10:39
A baby boy not older than 12 weeks has been found in a box on a staircase in an apartment block in the Russian town of Obninsk. The box was meant for a cat, who – after having found a new soul in misery, warmed up the baby and was worried to let him go.
The baby in the cat box was discovered by one of the neighbors, who had heard what she thought to be loud meowing and rushed to rescue the cat from possible offenders.
The furry feline has been living in the apartment block for three years, fed and petted by its residents. The day when she found an unexpected guest in her box was a freezing one, but the baby was very warm, according to the woman, who first discovered the abandoned boy.
"She has been keeping the baby warm for several hours and meowing to call for help," she told Ruptly video agency.
The woman, who turned out to be a nurse, said she also found a bag with baby food and diapers. The boy was well and tidily dressed, she added.
But it was the baby's new furry carer who was worried about the boy even after police and medics arrived. She kept close to the baby and didn't want to let it go, the woman said. "When an ambulance worker took the baby to bring him into the car, the cat followed him and pitifully meowed," she shared, also saying the four-pawed adoptive mother tried to jump into the ambulance to follow the boy.
The cat then sat for hours on the road by the house waiting for the car to return and bring him back, neighbors said.
The baby boy was taken to one of the hospitals in Obninsk, located some 60 miles from the Russian capital. Doctors said the boy – who might be from six to 12 weeks old – is completely healthy and feeling well. "We have received a lot of feedback from sympathizing residents, who are willing to help and ask if any food, toys and other things are needed," a pediatric nurse told Ruptly.
The police is now trying to identify the baby and is searching for his parents, while the cat – who looks to be expecting herself – is receiving extra care and treated like a hero by the residents.

John,
this was an amazing story of the baby boy and a cat who take care of her.... This cat was just living in the community and not having its own house....It was a nice video showing the hospital somewhere in Obninsk... which is not far from Moscov.
The cat looks like our cat called Kicia. It just has a bit more fur.

What a delightful story with a good ending. It would have been tragic if perhaps the child had been left in the cold too long with dire consequences we do not wish to think of. But for this very caring kitty cat, the ending was good.
Who knows what the situation was with the parents, it is evident and clear, the child was left for what ever reason. Perhaps now a new and caring set of parents will be found for a new home. It was very dear of the residence of the flat were the kitty cat lives are caring for her and possibly for her kittens to come.

Woman Uses Paramedical Tattooing To Hide Burns And Scars
January 16, 2015
Basma Hameed may not look like your typical tattoo artist, but that's because her ink-driven cause is anything but ordinary. After suffering terrible facial burns as a child, Basma devoted her life to paramedical tattooing, helping trauma victims cover up their burns and scars with skin-colored pigmentation treatments. Her profession is especially meaningful to the 17-year-old girl featured in this video, who had boiling water thrown in her face by ruthless bullies. Faced with the possibility of lifelong scarring, she sought Basma's help.
According to her website, "Basma discovered the possibilities of permanent make-up by experimenting on herself and using her own life experiences with scars to frame her expertise." Through this work, she hopes to showcase clients' inner and outer beauty by restoring their self-esteem through micro pigment implantation. While her method is untraditional (we'd never even heard of such a thing until now), we applaud her effort to transform clients and give them the confidence to hold their heads high again. Basma's a wonderful example of a woman who's overcome adversity to not only improve her own life, but to create positive change all around her, too.

Some thing new for something old, people with such defacing burns to then live their lives in torment until now. This new application of an old art that has been re-invented by Basma Hameed is a wonderful tool to heal not just the appearance, but to give new life and hope to those effected.
An excellent case in point of a need instigating a means of application.
Thank you once again for presenting..

We see so much in our world of hatred, death, inhumanity and the total lack of love. Remember "Love is the eternal emotion"!!!!
Simple things that show humanity at its finest !!!

J.J. Your avatar, it now reads in French-For welcome.. Karl Karl, These signs are at our state borders with Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts also with the border of Quebec, Canada. So we say Bienvenue for the benefit of the Quebec folks and the ones in the USA. there is much French Canadian spoken here.
