Stress and money cause depression in Poland23.02.2015 16:12As many as 1.5 million Poles suffer from depression experts say on the National Depression Awareness Day.Photo: Flickr.com/Tony FischerThe number is comparable to the number of people registered in the Polish capital Warsaw. The number is growing because of the increasing pace of life and the stress associated with it, said Dr. Piotr Wierzbiński from the Medsolver Psychological Association. On 23 February, Poland commemorated the National Depression Awareness Day. “ The first manifestation of depression is usually preceded by a significant stressful life event, which usually takes quite a significant toll on the patient and his financial and family situation,” Dr. Wierzbiński said. That is a nice post. I agree with what you said a lot of people are depressed because of money. A lot of people have been stressed because of having no work. The sad part is this doesn't only happened in Poland.

It comes in most all walks of life in most areas of our lives. A good and secure income is not so secure, for often if not the person is careful, to over spend with the knowledge of a secure monthly cheque forth coming. This then leads to indebtedness beyond the pay cheque to support. The above of course is only a single aspect of a complicated varied life experience of a few of the many. Karl

Helga, welcome to the forum. Pieter, there are many sources of depression among them lack of money and job are important. There is also depression among old people, their limited resources and feeling of being useless.

Depression will always be a sad issue among people especially those who can't cope with their problems. They usually feel helpless and doesn't want to live their lives anymore. We should always be aware of the signs of depression so that we can help those people who have them.
