Mr. Kowalski, please read some replies to your posts from 2 months ago when you visited us the last time before today.
Please, do not just post links to your articles if you do not read even the posts directed to you! If you have no patience to read, do not ask us to read your stuff since this is disrespectful.

Sorry for not replying to everything I read, Jaga.. This is not a sign of disrespect. And visiting a website only occasionally is also not not a sign of disrespect. People do have different priorities. What is wrong with this? Have a good day, Ludwik =======================

Ludwik,
Thank you for your reply. This makes clear your position. There is a discussion and desire on this Forum about interaction between the members, a desire for more participation and communication between more Forum members. There is a small group of about six persons which is active regulary and a very large group of people who do not participate or do not post and interact with others in the threads about various topics.
You have your autobiography, your story. It would be interesting if you posted some elements of that with a relationship to Poland over here. Links to other Forums, blogs, websites or stories do not always work over here. Interaction starts when texts and images are posted here and directly visible. Ofcourse we all have our personal preferences. We are a pluriform, hetrogenous bunch of people, Polish Americans (mainly), some Poles (some left and some stayed) and some West-Europeans (Karl and me). There was also another Dutch fellow over here who lives 50% of his time in Poland. For a long time I haven't heard about him.
It would be great if more Poles and Polish-Americans with knowledge or ties with Poland would participate. But the people who are active here are okay people and have their interesting subjective, personal perspective from several corners of the USA, Europe and Southern-America.
Cheers, Pieter

Ludwik,
You do not need to read all the posts but after your last visit several people, me including replied to your posts. You did not seem to notice that. So, the next time before posting, just read what people try to tell you directly.
Pieter tries to be very nice. THis is an interactive forum. If you want us to respect and read your posts, you need to put some effort into being here and at least replying to posts which you started.

People do have different priorities. What is wrong with this? Have a good day, Ludwik ======================= Ludwik, From my point of view: you post, ask for opinions, but do not discuss. I feel there is no point in taking time to consider a topic or perspective, compose a reply, and send it off into an empty room, with no consideration or discussion on your part. It seems quite insincere, and an effort only to get your opinions broadcast. So I must agree with Jaga. I find it more worth my while to chose topics that I discover and wish to share with others, an perhaps enter into a discussion, just as I do when they post something of interest to me. I am in the same situation with some neighbors; some wish to engage in a deep topic that needs consideration and discussion, but they insist that a 30 second soundbite is sufficient to express an idea. I don't have that perspective, and withhold my discussions in depth for other neighbors, where we will engage in discussion, contemplation and development of ideas. 30 second soundbites and one way presentations strike me too much as superficial and unsatisfying. Kai,
great post. You expressed your feelings about Mr. Kowalski but unfortunately many people do this type of trolling, maybe sometimes without even understanding that this is annoying. I feel guilty of being impatient and easily distracted also. This is one of features of our times, which I find repulsive but I cannot fight it myself.
If God would give ten commandments tablet now, it should be probably changed into 11....

1) Thank you to all who commented. I understand.
2) What would the 11th commandment be?
3) Some websites automatically inform authors when someone commented on what they posted. That is a very useful feature.

Ludwik, you should be able to see all your recent posts when you press your name. In your account you can also choose whether you would like to be informed if somebody replies to you. The 11 commandment should be about respecting and listening to the others just like we want to be respected and listened to. I guess, we should merge it with the second commandment - love your neighbor like you love yourself. It actually feels better when we realize that we are not the only ones in the world!
