It is Nicetoe, really, really terrible! A disaster in one of the poorest countries and regions in the world.
Houess and livelyhood gone, roads gone, cultural heritage gone, total destruction and no hope. Since the destruction is so large. So many wounded, so many dead, and so many people stil laying under the rubble.
I hope that a well coordinated international relief operation will help them.
I hope that opposing countries forget their differences and start helping these people, sholder to sholder!

Nictoe
Yes, this is a real tragedy and triumph of the human spirit. I was not to realize the number of brick structures until the media was to record and present the damage.
I must say, my self am not very smart with Nepal or the people, other then the mountain climbing groups that use the serpers for guides and help. I understand at times, they come to grips with nearby Pakistan.
Thank you for presenting...
And,,Welcome back...

Yesterday they were able to find two more alive people.
Maybe this tragedy would change something in Nepal into more positive direction. A couple of years ago the situation of Nepal mountain guides became more knows, their poverty and meager salaries. Thanks to the highest mountains in the world this area became almost infested with tourists and people who cannot live without adventure.

Nepal's goverment corruption certaintly didn't help its citizens. Nictoe I think perhaps you have found a truth. For as stumbling block to aid and supplies for this people has been at the door step of their own government blockage. They {government} appear to confuse stupidity for virtue. It is then a question as to and which ware house the supplies have been placed and then there is the monies in aid provided as to which pocket it has landed. Perhaps organized theft is too strong language, but then there is the term {misplaced priorities}. Karl
