We took a new cat 2 days ago. All of us call her "kicia" which means "kitty" in Polish. She has unique colors. These pictures do not really show its beauty.... I need more pictures. She is very nice and seems to become used to our house.

Funky colouring! (coloring!) I think she was an Egyptian princess in an earlier life.

I love your new kitty! She seems to be perfectly at home already! Ellochka looks so mature and grown-up now, too! Are you surprised that she's still blonde?

I have heard that this is a unique color available only for females. We took this kicia from the shelter but she was lost before and she is in a very good shape, about 2 years old. Our previous cat was also unique. He was a "main coon". This is a beautiful race, he was all orange and very big. They are also called gentle giants since they get along well with kids. We got the previous cat when he was already a bit old, since one of my friend was moving from the house to the apartment and she needed place for him. Here is one of the pictures see it here: from jaga.netfirms.com/series21.html

I need a better picture of our new cat because on ths red blanket it looks a bit devilish, but she is really lovely. She had three colors which is possible only with females. Here is what I found:
Black-and-orange cats are called tortoiseshells. Blue-creams are a "diluted" version of black and orange. When white markings are also present, the cats are said to be tricolors, calicoes, or "money cats." The black-orange (or blue-cream) color-determining genes are linked to the female sex chromosomes.

Jaga she is very pretty and unusual in coloring. I remember a long time go seeing an article on Celerty cats and Linda Evans had a cat exactly like yours. It was the first time I ever saw a caty colored such as hers.

Chris,
this is such a cute kitty!
Out cat woke us up at 4 am today with the noise of the broken glass.... she was trying to jump from the small table to the TV cabinet upper shelf and by doing that she pushed the vase and the set of the shot-glasses to the floor..... one shot glass was broken but everything else was saved except some dry flowers

Meet Tiki...my sister's crazy cat. She finds the strangest places to take a nap in...or does she think she is in a kitty spa ;D ;D Haa Chris, that is so typical of a Siamese kitty. Many years back, also I had one and surely do miss her. But, they with their personalities, have a penchant for irritating their owners Also of being very territorial. Charles

Oh oh...remember the saying. Dogs have owners and cats have staff. They do as they please and will just ignore you if you try to teach them anything...LOL She is probably still exploring her new surroundings and trying to get comfy with the new home she has. I suggest you leave nothing valuable out. My sister also had another cat that she had toget rid of as Tiki did not like her and she chewed everthiing like a dog would. She use to find dish towels, blankets, socks and drag them into the water dish. Naturally the item soaked all the water up and both cats had no drinking water all day while she was at work.

Suzanne, thanks! I also think that the kitty (kicia) is lovely. He either sits on my knees or he sits on my chair if.... I am not there in front on the computer. Here you can see the kitty sitting on my computer chair.
