I love New England like I love the Veluwe woods North of me over here in the Netherlands, the hills in and near Arnhem (with the parks Sonsbeek and Zypendael on it), the Ardennes mountains in Belgium, the Zeeland peninsula Walcheren, where my parents live. And the Polish landscapes and mountains I remember from my youth.
But New England and Quebec have their own unique North-American and Nort-East qualities. The nature reminds me of Europe (The trees, the mountains and animals), but the light, atmosphere and colors are American and Canadian.

I think perhaps the fellow with the pack is looking at different scenery whilst studying closely the likeness of the bill board lady.
