Really beautiful sunset. We have beautiful sunsets in Idaho also. Tonight is also a full moon, or very close to full moon.

Obviously the person who wrote this is not from New Hampshire. Kangamagus is spelled with one 'N' not the way it is in this notice.

What a wonderful autumn images John. The beautiful image of Pittsfield, New Hampshire by Elizabeth Anne Surman has a great lighting, color, composition and has that typical melancholic atmosphere North-America and North-West-Europe (counrties like Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and France) can have in the autumn. But this also has a typical North-American, New England, North-East atmosphere which you can only find over there, where the image was taken. I love Jeff Watkins breathtaking image of New Hampshire near Center Sandwich too adn the mountains and the rocks on Lisa Donoghue's image. The photo of Dominic Vecchione is wonderful too, because it gives the feeling of a luxery resort (nice Hotel you can stay in) and a wonderful environment for walking, jogging, driving your bycicle, motor bike or car. Must be a great place to swim, fish and sun bathe in the summer too. And maybe skiiing or Cross-country skiing (Langlaufen in German and Dutch) in the mountains. www.gettyimages.nl/detail/video/couple-skiing-down-on-classic-new-england-ski-trail-stockvideofootage/98502711I loved to this Cross-country skiing in the Belgian Ardennes mountains as a teenager and in my early twenties. This Cross-country skiing on that the Lower Nanamocomock Ski Trail in New Hampshire actually looks excactly like our Cross-country skiing tracks in Belgium in those days. I got a flash back seeing these images. Ofcourse the wildlife and mountain area's in the USA are larger than in Europe. Thanks John for posting all these lovely images. I might have been pre-mature by posting these winter images, but that is what I think about when I see mountains. For me autumn and winters are the best times in those mountain, rock and forest area's. Cheers, Pieter
