Pieter
Thank you for sharing, this was so remarkable as very difficult to properly place into words. Your research and rendition of such well researched material with presentation is beyond reproach to say the least..
It took some time to properly view your presentation but well worth it. The old photographs of past synagogues were remarkable constructions for their time. It was such a shame for them to be destroyed as fine buildings reduced to rubble and dust. But what is done, is done. The new that replaces the old, has its own beauty as demonstrated by the Blue Skyscraper as shown in the photo. It is a shame this new could have replaced the former old for the purpose as a synagogue, but reality is as it is, who is left to attend?
Some of the scenes as shown in the various videos are interesting. For they show the people on the street, how they dressed, the shops they frequented. The films of people attending the Jewish market at Arnhem were interesting as well, for this shown how they dressed, shopped, and the shops they requented, all a mosaic of public of that time.
The films of westerbork, were equally interesting only in the manner it was a death tool for assembly, registration, as a concentration camp conduet for deportation to the various death distinations. The word death as used to soften the word: Murdered
The recording of Heinrich Himmler whilst speaking to his men, was very frank, explicite without guile. He spoke plain as it is with out misunderstanding or misinterpretation needed. His was the manner and with out explanation, the words of a man in the position of leadership and personal power to act.
It is not my personal opinion nor to say with any guile or false innocence. But with out those years of a contrived meditated mass murder of a people, the modern Israel of today, might never have been.
Thank you once again for the work, research and presentation you have completed. It was vast, interesting and very informative in both historic and appreciation of a people that are the Jewish of today.

PIETER, BEAUTIFUL PICTURES AND HISTORY OF SYNAGOGES - I really enjoyed Bonobo's forum.
I agree with Bonobo of reality of these times and not rebuilding the synagogue, especially since these were communistic times and the Jewish were unfortunately gone or secularized. The state of Israel does not show any respect for Palestinian places of honor. It kills Palestinian civilians indiscriminately and it does not allow to rebuilt or reconstruct Palestinian neighborhood which were destroyed by Israel.
