By the way a border between Poland, Ukraine and Belarus is in one place.

The Bug River (Polish: Bug [buk] ( listen) or Western Bug; Ukrainian: Західний Буг, Zakhidnyy Buh, Belarusian: Захо́дні Буг, Zakhodni Buh; Russian: Западный Буг, Zapadnyy Bug) is a major European river which flows through three countries with a total length of 830 kilometres (520 mi).[1]
A tributary of the Narew River, the Bug forms part of the border between Ukraine and Poland for 185 kilometres (115 mi),[2] and between Belarus and Poland for 178 kilometres (111 mi),[2][3] and is the fourth longest Polish river.

Hi John, you are partly right. The origin of the boarder just between Ukraine and Belarus is the old division between Poland and Lithuania. Belarussians were citizens of Lithuania, and Ukrainians, at least some of them belonged to Poland. However, the border has historical roots. The border was similar between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland according to the Union of Lublin. After the partition of Poland, the boundary was similar, with Grodno and Minsk province on the one hand and Volyn and Kiev on the other. |
