Curtis Island Moon -
The moon chase was on again last night, this time from a location near where I work, Curtis Island Light in Camden. When I arrived a couple of other photographers were already setting up, and soon my friend Felice joined me. It was a late rise, and by the time the moon came up it was getting dark. That created a dramatic contrast which was heightened by the appearance of dusky haze in the atmosphere over Penobscot Bay. I clambered down the embankment and set up my tripod on a large boulder to get this image. — at Curtis Island Light.
