This is a short movie that explains the opportunity with ICT/IT for a low carbon office development. It is a movie about the difference between a 20th Century Office (the one most still have) and the 21st Century Office. But it is also a movie about the need to think beyond incremental changes. The movie is part of a thought-leadership project and is linked to a web-page and mobile applications for iPhone and Android. If the project is successful we will have achieved the following: ➢Better understanding among users about the potential of new technology solutions using 21st Century infrastructure ➢A database with ideas that can help companies move towards a 21st Century Office ➢Better understanding of future web-tools and apps that can help deliver real change among app/web developers ➢Emission reductions from users that use submitted ideas. This is not a theoretical idea, the tool will be measured and evaluated. ➢Developers and users gets more interested in applications that can make a real difference and contribute to a resource and fair society, See and judge for yourself, are you a 20th or 21st Century person and is this the kind of narrative that can contribute to a transformative shift in society? www.21st-century-office.net/

I am confident you know this, but a mobile phone is a transmitter and as such, has the weakness to be tracked. As the phone signal is received by the respective tower and retransmitted, it is then a matter of triangular tracking for location. Or as the situation will poise, the cell/mobile phone as it is keyed to transmit then may be scanned by the transmitted signal and located as you would with a radio transmitter location receiver. Pieter This topic has been on the burner in Germany this year as a priority in development. Some years past it began with development as with other states, wind turbin designs with tapping wind energy for electrical generation. Now it is to the Auto Manufacturers not just in the UK, but also presently with BMW/Daimler and Volkswagen in development and new designs for electrical cars/autos. There is a present proposition with such cities as Berlin, in a manner to cut transportation pollution, to provide free of cost public transportion for inner city travel. As with most all things, there is a cost, and at present, this has not been worked out. www.thelocal.de/20180312/german-automakers-are-biggest-global-spenders-on-electric-cars-studyWhat is a sty in the eye though, is for one state to spend such sums in development and production cost whilst a near by state sits on its duff and nullify such expensive efferts with their continuing in poisoning the air with their own brand of pollution. We have only one world to live on, and this is it our last chance with no other choice. Karl
