Terrible images of Eastern Ghouta which resembles images of the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus earlier, Aleppo and Warsaw during the Second World War.
Dying Palestinian child in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus, Syria, Jan 18, 2014
Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, #Damascus: This four-year-old Palestinian boy, Yousef Abdullahi, died of starvation yesterday (Saturday November 2nd, 2013) in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus.

A child in the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp on the outskirts of Damascus, where Palestinians had long been stuck inbetween attacking Islamic State (ISIL/ISIS) and al-Nusra Front fighters on one side and Palestinian PFLP-GC fighters and the Syrian army on the other side.
Today Syrian children in Eastern Ghouta look like this little Palestinian children who died in 2013 and 2014 due to malnutrition, shelling and bombardments. From 2013 until today Eastern Ghouta has been under constant siege. Today nearly 400,000 people remain trapped in Eastern Ghouta, many of them in desperate need of humanitarian aid. They have no food, no fresh water, no shelter and can't escape. They are slowly dying by hunger or getting killed by bombardments, shelling, or due to wounds they have gotten earlier, and because hospitals are being bombed. Some people who are lucky enough live in underground shelters. But most people don't have such safe hiding places.
