I loved to dance the tango in my dance lessons as a teenage boy Karl. I like this Argentinian music Karl. It is different in style, atmosphere and taste than Spanish music.
Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla (Spanish pronunciation: [pjaˈsola], Italian pronunciation: [pjatˈtsɔlla]; March 11, 1921 – July 4, 1992) was an Argentine tango composer, bandoneon player, and arranger. His oeuvre revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed nuevo tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. A virtuoso bandoneonist, he regularly performed his own compositions with a variety of ensembles.
In 1992, American music critic Stephen Holden described Piazzolla as "the world's foremost composer of tango music".
It was played at the wedding ceremony of the Dutch Argentinian queen Maxima Zorreguieta. It touched her Argentinian heart since the great Piazzolla, whom is loved and admired in Argentine, died in 1992.

Thank you for your nice reply, I was not aware you liked Tango music and had learnt to dance to this very romatic music.
We have in past talked about Argentina and too much about my personal experience as a young man working for uncle Otto {on my fathers side} as his apprentice in Buenos Aires. I liked the city, but it scared me for its vastness, but at that time, I was a small town kid.
Over time, I have tried to learn to dance the Tango and simply just gave up for the compexity. My right leg, foot or both would simply not cooperate and my dance partner usually let me know when she had enough. My only saving grace was to the credit of my two cousins, for they taught me how to treat a lady and how to be gracious.

Karl,
Tango dancing is difficult indeed, and my dancing of the Tango wasn't top level, but simple the level of a 16 year old boy who had to learn dancing as part of his upbringing. The Tango was one of the few dances we learned. We also learned the Foxtrot, Waltz(which in Dutch we call the English Waltz), Cha-cha-cha, Rumba and the Salsa. The difficulties you experienced with the Tango I experienced with the Salsa, m right leg, foot or both would simply not cooperate. It was not my thing. I was best in creating my own versions of these dances and figured out with my lovely dance partners how to dance the dance of the moment.
I am geatful to my parents that they put me on the dance school.
Cheers, Pieter

I had a beautiful redhead girlfriend who was good at the tango. I believe she has some Spanish blood from her mothers side, because the dance was in her. She went to a professional Latin dance, Tango/Salsa school, where people only danced the Tango or Salsa on a higher level. I like both the temperament and the melanc
I can't dance these advanced styles and tempo of Tango ofcourse.
Cheers, Pieter
