Pawi Please tell me - am I missing something with the postings in this series? Leslie English words pronounced in those combinations sound very funny to a Polish ear...

Pawian, this is a gracious way to say something which sounds very bad in English By the way, I noticed that I tend to make the biggest errors in words which have the same pronunciation but they means something else. For instance: I leave in Krakow (instead of I live in Krakow). I am doing these types of errors all the time! In Polish one pronunciation means one word in English not really

Jaga, maybe your accent is getting in the way of your pronunciation. Leave and live do not sound the same. Leave has an "e" sound and live has an "eh" sound but I bet when you speak your live sounds like leave.....am I correct.
