Dear Mr. Filipbolek
My self am not Polish or American, but perhaps to provide a lead that may or may not assist you in your endeavors with your play. Perhaps this may be a lead previously followed, but if not, a bit of information of report order #00802.
That was a loused war for all the wrong reasons, and it appears it will never die.

Karl, thanks for trying to answer to Mr. Filipbolek. I think he need to ask some real experts in the area... there are history forums for people who speak Polish, this would be probably the best for him, but he should have a translator. I just don't have a time to do it anymore. Life is too busy

Jaga
It was kind of you with your reply, for my reply to this fellow was all wrong. Some reason I forgot to include the correct url and the other was a personal violation of my own to never reply to such a Polish question.
I have no vested interest in this Polish matter, and as no Poles had bothered to reply to this fellows question, thought perhaps to at least give him a trail that might lead to other conclusions he could use, that is if he ever returns.

Thank you for your replies. I am only looking for truths, and not opinions. I am where I am because my father was able to survive as a Korporal in the 8th Infantry Army, Stalag 1A and 1B, Komi Siberia, Palestine, North Africa, Italy, Cassino, and Bologna. Because he past away before I could try to talk to him about ALL he experienced, I am now faced with more questions than answers. I cannot change what happened, but I can at least try to understand it better. Filip Dear Mr. Fili My self am North Western European, your reply was exactly that what would be expected. It must be reminded, you were the one asking for help, not my self and be advised, I do not provide opinions as you have clearly expressed. This will be the last reply I shall make to you as an exchange. I see you have lost your father, will, so my self also, my father served as commander of his Panzer first in Poland, then Africa and on the East Front where he commanded a Stug. Yes, for a very long time, I hated every Russian born, not fond of Americans at that time. With my close Frisian family, was my salvation for they provided the love and healing I needed to over come. You are not the only one to lose family. Karl
