I am with Pelosi with these worries. Trump will try to keep circus he created:

Win or lose, President Trump will not relinquish power unless he’s crushed in the 2020 election, according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“We have to inoculate against that,” Pelosi told the New York Times. "We have to be prepared for that.”
Pelosi became the House speaker in January after Democrats gained 40 seats in the November 2018 midterm election. She feared then that the President would challenge the results of that race if it was not decisive.
"If we win by four seats, by a thousand votes each, he’s not going to respect the election,” she said. “He would poison the public mind. He would challenge each of the races; he would say ‘you can’t seat these people.’”
Among Pelosi’s concerns is that the President has suggested, without evidence, that in 2018, voter fraud may have benefited Democratic congressional candidates. He made similar remarks in 2016, again without evidence, after handily winning the presidency in the electoral college despite losing by nearly three million votes in the general election.

The 79-year-old Democratic leader shudders to think how things might have turned out had Trump held control of Congress for two more years.
“We had to win. Imagine if we hadn’t won,” Pelosi said. “Oh, don’t even imagine.”
Tensions between Republicans and Democrats escalated in March when special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on impropriety in the 2016 presidential election was released. Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr interpreted the report as exoneration for the president. Fueled by a letter from Mueller to Barr that seems to take issue with that conclusion, House Democrats have attempted to use their newly-gained power to bring parties involved in that report to Capitol Hill to testify. Trump and some of of his associates, including Barr, have resisted those attempts so far.

"When you’re looking at Barr, you just think, ‘How could he sell his soul — alleged soul — to Donald Trump,’” Pelosi told associates Thursday, according to the Times report.
She suggested that Democrats curb their divisive talk of impeachment and “own the center left, own the mainstream,” as a means of keeping the president in check.
