The Dutch art salesman Bert Kreuk will hand over the American flag next week in the White House to President Donald Trump. He bought the flag in 2016 at an auction in Dallas for 450,000 euro. He wanted the American president to come to the Netherlands to hand over the flag, but the American president had no time to come to the Netherlands and therefor for the sake of history, in honour for the American veterans and his good business and ties with the Americans Bert Kreuk now wants to hand over the flag in the White House next week.
Bert Kreuk, the value of the flag is more than the money he payed for it. For Kreuk Flag is a symbol of Freedom and the blood that was shed for that freedom. Kreuk "This flag has to be handed over in a respectful manner to honour the people who gave their lives for our Freedom. The Americans who died in Normandy on Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and other places in Northern France , Belgium and the Netherlands where the Americans fought for our liberation and thus Freedom.
