Two men arrested for plotting terror attack, will appear in court on ThursdayNovember 27, 2019Two men will appear in court on Thursday charged with preparing a terrorist attack, the public prosecution department has confirmed. One man, aged 20 was arrested at his home in Zoetermeer on Monday by heavily armed police officers. The second man, also from Zoetermeer and aged 34, was arrested on a public street in The Hague. Both were picked up following a tip-off by the security services that an attack was being planned.
The prosecution department suspects the men of plotting to use suicide bomb belts and car bombs in the attacks, which were set to take place at the end of the year. No targets have been identified and no explosives or guns were found during searches of their homes. ‘We have serious suspicions they were preparing to carry out a terrorist attack but were still in the planning phase,’ the public prosecutor said. An axe, a dagger and a mobile phone with multiple sim cards was found in a secret ceiling compartment in one home. The mother of the 20-year-old told local broadcaster Omroep West that she could not believe her son would be involved in such a thing. ‘He is religious but he is not an extremist,’ she said. The 20-year-old is Dutch, possibly with Iranian roots, and the older man has Iranian nationality, Omroep West said.In the Southern Netherlands terror suspects trained in the forest

Anti terror units in the Netherlands
In Arnhem in 2017 a large scale anti terror operation was going on. The Arnhem police cooperated with special police anti-terror intervention teams. Train traffick close to Arnhem was blocked, important roads/highways closed and the special police forces came in with full gear, with their special vehicles, sharp shooters and air support by special police helicopters.
Next to the normal police cars you see the black armour-clad special police forces cars and vehicles. You only see these in emergency situations like this unusual hostage situation in 2017. These are the Dutch versions of the American SWAT (special weapons and tactics) team.

Pieter It is good you have brought this in to the light of day to think of and to understand. Terrorism is indeed so a problem in Europe, the richer the state, the most likely of those that wish to destroy. For which ever the reason of these people conducting what they do, is not a good enough reason and must be dealt with quickly. These people if to excuse the word cancer, which in action is what it is, most often good people for what ever reason, have turned against the state. With this, to those of lessor morals, it is contagious and seems to spread if not checked in its early stages. The videos dealing with 1st responders is a very dangerious situation for these people. For often, these people for what ever reason, are very often on scene and with out the training and/or back up that should be for them. With this, they {1st responders} must deal with what they are faced with until trained professionals arrive to take charge. There has been for many years prior to the present of those with twisted intentions to harm and kill other people for no other reason then an idea. Now at this time with such a vast mixture of past and present immigrants and with the on going fighting in the gulf region, with have the same results of violence but for different reasons. What actually matters, is the results over what ever personal ideas these people may carry in their heads. The anti-terror action taken by these Dutch units were very excellent in pre-emptive action before those individuals were able to act out their plans. This was a very good results of intelligence and correct information to be acted upon. For so often as naught, ant-terrorist units arrive as a post action and the damage has already been acted upon. The following is a bit lengthy as a subject write up by: Mr. E.S.M. Akerboom. Director Democratic Legel Order, General Intelligence and Security Service of The Netherlands {CAIVD}. fas.org/irp/world/netherlands/ct.pdfKarl
