1. What contribution did Madame Curie make to the world?
Marie Curie is one of the most famous scientists that ever lived. Her contributions such as the discovery of Radium and other key elements help us out every day, especially when getting an x-ray. Polonium is an element on the periodic chart.

Jim Did you intend to start with an easy one?! Marie was co-discoverer with her husband, of radium and radioactivity, eventually developing many of its uses in diagnosis and cures. They also, later, discovered polonium. Leslie
