;D The day I was born was very hot and today in Norfolk, it is very hot. Part of the old saying is that "Thursdays child is full of woe". I wonder if the saying was for my mom or me? Well it is another year gone by and I hope that I am a little wiser; I do know that I have a few extra dollars in my pocket but, then again, I have no bar tab. Any way, thank you all for the good wishes and I hope I can last another year. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bob, Yes, chocolate has lots of health benefits indeed, so eat up! ;D My avatar always makes me hungry, too....... Have you been watching the Perseids? ;D ;D Well Suzanne I did try. The 1st night I got my telescope and binoculars ready. I set up some chairs, mad coffee and got some cake ready. It was clear all day but at night the clouds cover came in. The same thing happened the 2nd day. The clouds won and I lost. I'll try again next year. I overcame my frustration by ordering a Narrow-Block light pollution filter. This is one way of getting revenge on my neighbors and inconsiderate city, LOL . ;D ;D ;D

Bob My skies were wonderfully crisp and clear on Saturday night. I'm not particularly interested in meteors but the promise was a wonderful shower display as we were to pass through a thick part of the comet's residue. I watched from 2330h to 0015h and saw one very bright meteor and one much fainter - so much for the rich shower! Leslie
