Chris,
Great pictures! I have been wondering how the party went! Looks like more than a small gathering at you house, as I had imagined. Tell us a bit about the Polish detachment - I see two different colors of uniforms??

The celebration was slightly highjacked and moved to the local Polish center and the entire church showed up - much to our good fortune the women of the church cooked and it was wonderful! The current detachement is made up of two from the army (with the lighter olive colored gala uniforms and one form the air force (a blue uniform). My husband is in the darker green uniform. In one of the pictures outside of the church there is a guy in the suit with the sash was in the AK and wanted to be in the picture with "the guys." In the pictures showing the presentation of the flags you can see a couple more of the remaining AK members taking part. With Wayne just getting home and all I am glad the party moved!

Looks like more than a small gathering at you house, as I had imagined. So I have thought, too. Thanks for the photos. Chris's presentation brought to my mind an idea. Pehaps we could all present some of the photos of our towns/villages, just the simple photos of the place we all live in. It was so nice to see a little glimpse of St. Petersburg, just the church- apart from the main theme of the presentation, and that gave me the idea.
