Nancy, I was looking for stork patterns. My daughter just had twin boys and I am going to make ornaments that look like a stork. Each stork will have a baby in his beak with the boys name on it. Congratulations, Jim, on your twin grandsons! I can't imagine life with twin boys. I have only one son who's almost 4, and he can be, shall we say, lively! A cousin of mine does woodworking (furniture building, some scrollsaw and handcarving, esp. duck decoys). Is this the kind of pattern you're looking for? www.scrollsaw.com/newborn_intarsia.htmMaybe not the whole thing, but the stork part would make a nice ornament.

Suzanne I found a scroll saw stork in my latest Scroll saw mag. The boys are a handfull for my daughter. Her first children. I go visit every saturday and her mom comes up during the week to help out. And her sister gets there on Sunday. So she gets some help but it's still a lot of work for her. There picture is my desktop.
