This is actually something Jerzy wrote about it the "so called News" thread:
Polish MP threatens to reveal all in Poland's continuing sex scandal
Warsaw, Poland 27 July 2007 The sex scandal that has been dogging Poland's Government is approaching a crescendo as a Polish MP threatens to tell all after a Parliament committee votes to recommend lifting his Parliamentary immunity.
Coalition party Samoobrona's leaders have been fighting off accusations of trading sex for political advancement, work and money for months. But little could be done to move forward while a Parliament rules and regulations committee debated whether to lift the immunity of a senior MP or not.
In spite of the delays while the committee debated, Samoobrona member Stanislaw Lyzwinski, who is facing charges of rape, said that he was willing to voluntarily waive his immunity. He claims he is not worried because he is innocent.
But if he did that, he would not be able to address the Parliament on the matter. So he has been waiting for a decision by the rules and regulations committee so that he could speak out.
But now that a recommendation has been made, he will be offered the opportunity to speak before the Parliament.
And yesterday he said that he would speak and when he speaks he will tell all.
"Many people should be afraid of my address in the Sejm: those who conspired against me, those who lost the elections, those who acted on somebody's inspiration. All will be made known."
Under the conditions for continuation of the coalition Government, Prime Minister Kaczynski has demanded that coalition party members vote for lifting immunities of members of parliament.
But the Samoobrona leader, Andrzej Lepper has refused to agree to that condition. He may vote against the rules and regulations committee recommendations.
Adding to the battle, today Lepper said the Kaczynski broke the coalition by firing Agricultural Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Farms head and Samoobrona party member Janusz Osuch. But in spite of Kaczynski breaking the coalition, his party would stay in the Government and his people would maintain their positions.
Lyzwinski's fate depends on the Parliament voting to lift his immunity. And the embattled Lepper, even though it may mean further coalition turmoil and having his people lose their jobs, does not seem ready to do that right now.
But Lyzwinski may tell all before the Parliament vote and change some minds.
Lyzwinski just may carry through on his threat and let it all hang out for the public to see.
