If you are not liked by one of the party or somebody important - they would try to find everything against you.
When Clinton (democrat) was a president - it was a relative prosperoty in the USA but Clinton was hated so much that the persecutor was hanging over his head all the time, first with White Water investigations but they could not get to him this way so they found Lewinsky.
Then Delay (republican) changed the boundaries of districts in Texas - now Democrats tried to find everything they could against him which is not that difficult because he is corrupted but also many other politcians in both parts are corrupted or somehow takes profit from its power.
Now, senator Murtha had a famous speech against the war and I heard that republicans are deliberating whether to appeal to the ethnics committee because he was hiring his relatives in his office.
So, until you would be an average guy nothing would happen to you but try to stick your nose out - they would try to GET TO YOU!

My simplishtic view is do we want to fight on foreign soil or US Soil.

Today they were telling that in the area where American soldiers are searching for insurgents - plenty families live. They were showing mother with baby in the shoulder and a small beautiful girl - crying. This is not a good idea to fight the conflict with somebody else somewhere esle. What if there would be a conflict between Germany and Poland but we want to fight it in Texas? |

Interesting article, i have read other articles in that topic too. Did you you know that Sandusky River is also of polish origin? It is derived from name "S¹decki" which was very hard to spell for english speakers, so they converted in into Sandusky. Yanc PS. To match a true Baba Jaga you definitely need some make up :  |

Jim.... Do you actually believe Iraq was a threat to our security?? I didn't know Iraq had aircraft carriers. Besides 911 Commision stated that Iraq was no threat to our security. ( oh, i know, to some people it was a liberal Democrat conspiracy ) Also 13 of the 15 terroists during 911 were Saudi's. When are going to invade that country Jim? Besides, i remember during Vietnam where people said they rather fight now there than on our own soil. Well, we know how rediculious that was. And by the way Jim, i served in Vietnam and i now realize we didn't learn a darn thing from our past mistates.

Iraq probably not a threat to the US. I'll have to check Janes for the Iraqi fleet. I'm sure they were nukes. Yes, most of the terroists were Saudi's then. Now most are Jordanians. I still would rather fight there then here. But who is going to land on our shores, not many I guess. The only threat is the suicide bombers, with a dirty nuke they can reak havoc, and we are defenseless against it.
There are many dictators out there killing people Sadam was just one.
Maybe we should vote for isolationism and give it 20 years and see how that works.?
