here is the e-mail I received from Chris Gniewosz: I hope you might mention on your page my second non-fiction book "Noble Flight - A Family's Exodus and Survival During World War II" This book has been compared to Diary of Anne Frank. This book joins Chris' earlier work "Noble Youth - Adventures of Fourteen Siblings Growing Up on a Polish Estate 1919-1939" said to be a cross between "Little House on the Prairie" and "Sound of Music". www.nobleyouth.com

Jaga, Thank you for listing "Noble Flight". It was published in December 2008. The response has been gratifying. While it was written primarily for the non-Polish American, my biggest surprise has been the interest by Polonia, primarily those raised in Poland during communism. "Noble Flight" and the earlier book "Noble Youth" offers them a glimpse into what Poland was really like, and fills the void hidden during communism.

Hi Chris, I could not find too much information about the book on your website. Are fragments of the books available to read online? look for instance at James Martin. He does a good job promoting his works: www.jamescmartin.com/jcmbio.htm

I saw this post and as a result, I have started reading "Noble Youth." I love this window on that particular era of Polish life and culture. Can't wait to finish it and start Noble Flight. Thanks.
