This is a tip which was sent to me from one of the Proboards hosts:
For best results, suggest that they use one of the popular free email solutions such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc. We are able to test using these services, so they are generally best to use when registering. Sometimes the emails will get routed to the spam folder automatically, they will want to check this. Also, they can try adding noreply@proboards.com to their email contacts list and can re-send the activation code to their email. Usually this will work out
