1) Hang out with gnomes in Wroclaw This attractive southwestern city's most distinctive attraction is its collection of gnomes. More than 150 statues of these little people are dotted around the Old Town. They're usually in the middle of an activity that has something to do with the building they're placed next to outside a cafeteria, for example, there's a gnome holding a giant fork with a dumpling on the end. Grab a "gnome map" ($2) from the tourist office on the square and get spotting.

2) Learn about the Free City of Danzig in Gdansk Between the world wars the coastal city of Gdansk was a tiny independent nation, part of neither Poland nor Germany. Now the Free City of Danzig is commemorated in a new museum in the centre of its historic Main Town (ul Piwna 19, Gdansk; admission $2). Most entertaining are the brochures in German and English gushing about the charms of the city's own Baltic beach resort, Zoppot (now Polish Sopot), which was established in the 19th century by a doctor from Napoleon's retreating army.

These are really good information for tourist to do in Poland. I visited there 5 times , and I might be going returning this season too. and the holocaust was just a small aspect of enhance record.
