I will be gone to Brazil for 3 weeks: June 1-21. It is a charitable trip to Nova Almeida - a small community between San Paulo and Rio on the coast. we will spend 2 weeks there and one week in Rio. There are internet cafees there, so I hope to e-mail you something but I do not take my laptop with me like I had in Lithuania, so my contact will be limited.

Jaga
Jeepers, Brazil! Your language skills should be handy in Portuguese. The area you are to be in, is very well respected with in-port and export in shipping. For this area is a very rapid expansion in the business world.
As a by and by, that area has a reputation of very heavy swells, not so welcomed in shipping, but very handy for the surfers...
Have some fun!!

Eric, Polishmama,
thanks so much! Of course I did not forgot about you although I did not mention your names in the previous post. Please, come to the forum from time to time. I will try also.
I am glad that I will have a break. It is so cloudy and rainy here in Idaho this year. In Brazil, there is a sunshine always.

Have a great trip, Jaga! Everyone I know who has been to Brazil loved it.
There is also the story of Physics Nobel Prize winner Richard Faynman and his long term relationship with Brasil, quite removed from his normal science. Ahhh... such a broadly talented man!
