I am looking for a town in Poland named Roguslaw where my grandmother Magdalena Dombrowski was born around 1887. The manifest when she arrived in the US in 1907 lists Grajewo, Lomza as her last address. I hope to visit the area and any relatives on a trip to Poland this June. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hi Bazydlot. thanks for joining us. Please check our articles about genealogy with links, for instance: How to find the Family Nest: the Town or Village where your Family comes from www.polishsite.us/index.php/emigration-and-genealogy/polonia-worldwide/120.htmlhad links to interactive map of Poland. Try to use Polish letters. For instance Lomza should be written as £om¿a, but even if you do not input Polish letter it will find this city since this is one of the bigger. mapa.szukacz.pl/I could not find a village Rogus³aw from the map showing £om¿a region. Maybe the name was changed from Rogos³aw or Bogus³aw referring to your grandmather last name it was probably spelled D¹browski Grajewo is about 40 miles east from £om¿a. It is a town.
