Watch video clips of propaganda from Russia, DDR (East Germany), DPRK (North Korea), Iraq under Saddam, Iran, etc. which portrays USA as the bad guys. The Russian cartoon of a Stephen King techno-thriller is especially interesting. Click the country, video, blank screen. Carl: www.vunet.org/?q=Soviet§ion=viihde&FP_SECTION=finnish&maxts=80

I remember my first trip behind the Iron Curtain in 1970 watching a war movie in Czechoslovakia. It had no Americans init, but I remember the final scene where the Kirk Douglas type hero is shown in a close up, his determined face heroically continuing to fight against the fascist and to advance the socialist cause... very dramatic, as good as anything I saw out of Hollywood.
First time I went into a DDR museum about military stuff I was puzzled by the "NVA", which to me war "North Vietnamese Army", but eventually I figured that it was "National Volks Armee", East German. It was tough to change my mindset after our Vietnam experience.
I see Bush the draft dodger finally showed up in Vietnam 40 years late. Now does that leave him as a Draft Dodger or 40 years AWOL?

I think perhaps it is a matter of which side of the fence a person sits upon as to which side is good or bad.
