Niepolomice is an interesting town not far from Krakow. It has a wonderful forest around it. This forest served as a hunting area for Polish king, therefore he built a castle there. Marcin, my brother lives in Niepolomice. Below are some pictures: Marcin with Ela in the museum of old audio equipment In front of Niepolomice Royal castle inside the Royal Castle - it was renovated recently [imghttp://culture.polishsite.us/images-12/Poland/Niep4.JPG][/img] With famous Royal joker - Stanczyk

There is an interesting art gallery inside Niepolomice's castle - here is a famous and dramatic picture which shows Rejtan, Polish congressman who is protesting the first partition of Poland in 1773 (partition among Russia, Prussia and Austria) One of the paintings from Niepolomice museum - shows traditional pasants blue houses (chaty) from Krakow's area with thatched roof Niepolomice is also famous from the wild forest around it. Jaga
Thank you again for posting some of your travel photos...It is good, you are able to visit with Marcin and good for Ela to renew acquaintances with her uncle, she looks worn out...
Both your self and Marcin have a good sense of humour with the photo of you both seated with the statue.. You have a good family..
