Beautiful video done by a guy who was just gliding there. Beautiful pictures and scenery! It is amazing that he was able to maneuver in such rugged conditions. He waved several times since the mountains were just full of people, especially on the tops of the mountains.

Curious if anyone will ever attempt to try something similar there.

Nictoe,
The fellow looks like a giant flying squirrel. I guess the definition separating flying from flying is 45 degree angle ... descending at greater than 45 degrees is gliding and at descending at less than 45 degrees is flying. I will have to look at my maps of the Tatras to see if they have a deep enough vertical face to try such a thing.
Knowing humans, if it is possible, they will attempt it!
What I found amazing was his close approach to the ground as he positioned to enter the crack. A small mis-calculation there could have been disastrous. But then I expect he would have had pre-set decision points at which he decided the approach route.
