Ok, I will admit, I am not the most advanced male upon the surface of the planet earth. But there are some situations of female behaviour of that I have experienced of late, that is not withen the realm for us fellows to ignore, ok?
Today, for a safe guard of my well being, in the case of becoming a burden under neath a truck {lastwagen} I did so seek and was admitted to the care of an {Internal Medicine} lady physician {Vietnamese lady} She was was very professional and to the point.
For one thing, I detest to see a physician for one thing, the other, I do not wish to unclothe before one. For one thing, I am a man, and we must protect our pride,,ok?
Well, the good learnt Doctor, ignored all of this, read of my pre-written medical history {I have no medical history in this country} and ask a few Innocent questions to bring down my guard, as I do not wish to see a physician in the one place.
This lady she Doctor then pulled a darn sneaky trick, she gave orders to her assistant to leave a snaky typen thin of coverage for my body to dress in, yes,, very sneaky. then she {Vietnamese physician} arrive back to ask {are you ready?} I am ready? for darn what?? Heck, it is drafty and cold in here...
The lady Vietnamese physician then proceeded to prod my poor naked body, Liston to my sacred heart for what ever, and then pronounce that my heart is beating rapidly, will of course it is pounding, I am cold, I hate being examined, and worse, what will this lady discover??? Yess??/ After another experience with the assistant with a heart monitor/recorder machine {for get the name at moment}.
The results were what I knew before. I am of fine health, with a bit of high blood pressure that is not satisfactory. Ok fine, I will not die now, but perhaps with some peace, I will die with dignity as of a good barbarian should be allowed.
Well no, not this lady doctor, she will not let this occur, for she had me figured in the 1st 10 minutes, that I am chicken heart and fear of great, her as the lady physician.
Now at her discretion, I must in short future, submit to blood test for cholesterol and heaven only knows what then..
Then to say of her power over a mortal such as me, she then knows my next building over, eye physician and he is Japanese..
Ok for my day that is over, but not quite so quick. Ok, as a few moments to recover from this trying day as a poor fellow. I was to drink two/ ok/ three tins of beer. Then to relax to think perhaps this day was just a trying time.
I was to place upon my computer a new wall paper of some undressed ladies of French. {This is Lisboa Portugal} We fellows know of these and for my thin thinking, so what is the situation that would evolve, for this is my computer, yes? Well not so I thought, ok? Besides, the young lady lacking clothing is a very lovely tribute upon the viewing screen of my computer. Who other wise will be viewing my screen, or so I thought..
my wife Anna came in to spy on my activities and become very emotional, yes, very very emotional to say the least.
Now of my day, I have had a run in and lost with a Vietnamese lady Internal Medicine Physician {with very lovely legs}, a nasty motorist {young female operator speaking on her cell phone} and now my dear wife, and she is with out humour.
Well, to solve the situation and bring peace upon the known world I must live in, ok I conducted as the good Vietnamese lady internal medicine physician required of me to do so, I purchase the heart medicine {It was 4 dollars cost at Wal-Mart}, spoke nicely to the Pharmacists. Removed the lovely naked lady from my computer wall paper {she was a lovely creature to behold!!}.
And now, to watch the night news, as Anna felt she was betrayed and now seeks solace at the Tualip Casino with her sister and girl friend.
For this is America? Yes my male friends, for be careful of what you wish for, for it is here!!

My goodness, you have had a stressful day!
Let me give you some well intended advice as far as your Anna.
#1. REMEMBER, You are not Clark Gabel, or any other Movie star, but just a normal man. Thus, your woman is also a normal woman. and, usually, most women are too good for their men... (a woman's point of view) She is there for you, putting up with you, (as you are her) and there is too much fantasy in this era we live in.
#2. Get Real, Cherish your woman and LET HER KNOW IT!!!
Treat her as an equal. Appreciate all that she does, and Tell Her! Don't assume she knows, or reads your mind. She needs to hear it from you!
Charles, Your Anna needs to know you love her and are not seeking another, let her know she is all you need and all you want.
The grass is not greener on the other side.

   Charles, It appears you are the victim of 'to much estrogen'. Definitely not enough of testosterone in your immediate vicinity. I suffer from this malady in my house also. These situations need to be balanced. You know, the Yin and the Yang type of thing.  J.J. I am surprised you have of similar situation! You have such an excellent well balanced out look on all. I was to think of the Yin and Yang twins and their plight by nature given. One was dependent upon the other to the end, It would so seem with us as the strength of inter/dependence upon one with each other. Perhaps it is but a moment within our lives that perhaps needs be a re-adjustment of thought. This is to give more thought to our best friend, our wives, for they have forsaken their youth and beauty, to spend their lives in marriage to us as fellows. Charles woe is us - - Woe is us!!!! |

Charles...I can't help but getting a chuckle out of your story. Maybe you gave Anne a scare thinking you were going to those "forbidden" places on the Internet. Using that as a screen saver I'm not sure if you would be concentrating on your "work". (I would keep my PC screen and desk facing the door in the future and exercise a fast finger for minimizing screens.
As far as your Dr goes. It is for your own good so pay attention and relax a bit. You are getting away with murder compared to what us woman must go through in a Dr's office. Want to trade places. (not sure about the cell phone operator...do I understand that to be an accident that lead you to the exam)

I was not in an accident. It was for my self, to locate a primary physician. The previous clinic were clearing house of Medicare patients, and my foreign insurance was not understood to be accepted, and as so, cleared my account out. As for to have a listed physician as a primary doctor to place on contact form with my eye physician, was my entire intent. For much to my distress, I have vision problems that are physical. The Japanese eye physician is a stickler for details. And now I have a Vietnamese lady internal medicine physician with also a stickler for details. It is as of two professionals against my entire will to stay out of any medical offices. Well yes, I was of mistaken to use the French nude for a wall paper on my computer. For after all, the view is only whilst the computer is of boot up, then once on line, the wall paper is disappeared. Even though the lady of nude was waist up only {she was a beauty} it was upsetting to Anna, so I removed it with replacement of the former photograph of a peaceful lake scene superimposed with a floating island and sail boat in back ground. I simply miscalculated and screwed up. It would seem, this has become a common event of late. Sorry for unable to access your kind U-tube {Milt-show - the singing man song} it is limitation of band width of dial up} As a happy consideration of fortune, a new computer is in the works for the foreseable future, then for a higher speed access in internet speed....I hope of so.... You can't beat the medical system. Do what you have to, then do what you want to. Either way you wake up with yourself and maybe that's all you'll wake up with. Take Chris' suggestion. Keep the screen to yourself. Have fun.

Keep the screen to yourself. Have fun. Haaa, thank you FTB for your input. What I have done, is what I must. I removed the offending screen photo and reverted back my old lake/island photo. I do care for the feelings of Anna, what hurt her, will also hurt my self, it is a two way partnership between us. She is a very special woman. Whilst I am out and about, I try to purchase for her some candy {she likes chocolate} to let her know I think of her. She in turn insures whilst on some of her absences {she visits much with her family} insures I will not starve to my death. She is very controlling in a very gentle and loving manner, of this, I have learnt to appreciate. I made a mistake with the photo and rectified by removal. Her feelings out weigh that of my own. For some reason, I feel very inadequate as to the manner I have described this, more a stumble bum fellow then smart. Charles |

Your feelings are yours and you need to express them as you wish. Sometimes we all do thing that are in error as perceived by another person but so life goes. I'm sure you meant no harm with the desktop. But so our testosterone runs us males from time to time.
We all must deal with the healers (Physicians) or possibly suffer catastrophic consequences. When my colonoscopy discovered I had cancer it was a shock and blessing. It was discovered early. Had I not gone to the Dr. it would have taken me early.

Thank you for your thoughts..Also for your disclosure of the unfortunate/fortunate discovery and cure of the cancer you had. This is such a hideous decease.
I think it is the fear of discovery of such a diseases as to a reluctance to see the doctor. The welcome of ignorance to be happy until we sicken and die. But of course that is not realistic.
It is best to do as you have done,simply see the doctor for how ever the outcome.

I would probably be madder than hell at you for displaying a naked lady on your desktop-I'd probably make some rude comments and then storm thru the house unleashing my wrath. I would then pick up my purse, keys and slam the door on the way out...mumbling to myself-to let you sit & stew in your brew. I would think twice before I came home for awhile; but would be at my girlfriend's house crying my eyes out. if I was a "she devil who fights fire with fire" .... I would have made some sexy comment "why don't you put me on your desktop instead?" Ut oh! Don't be surprised if Anna treats you just a wee bit different for a few days maybe a week, depending if her pride has been hurt. She may give you the "silent treatment" by not talking to you. This maybe her way to justify the way you hurt her by the nude. In time, she will come around and be herself again. I used to get pissed when my husband read Hustler & Playboy. I would get "they have some good articles in the magazines." Yeah, right, especially in the centerfold...but I found the madder I got, the worse I got and took my anger out on him, where my anger really belonged to me. I figured out that I was the one uncomfortable with looking at naked bodies. Not until I accepted that the body is a true form of art, did I accept the Hustler/Playboy magazines. With acceptance, my anger disappeared, I was able to draw in charcoal naked bodies and the magazines disappeared too. If chocolate is the way to her heart, then so be it. If it's cuddling on the couch, just being together, then so be it. She will not stay mad at you forever Charles-for us women need our men-most of the time...but if my husband ever brought home store bought flowers, I'd know he was up to no good...! Joyce Hmmm, I had forgotten that particular presentation, for you caught me sleeping! Well, you are correct on all accounts, and as a fire breather, you are doing very fine!!! And yes, I was a louse for placing that photo on my wall paper screen, and yes, the lady in question was of rather interesting proportions. But not worth the pain. At the proper directions from Anna, yes the offending image was removed. But, this was not her most grieved offense, for also I had eaten of 3 of her favourite ice-cream bars out of the kooler, and this really was the final irritations. Ok: I redeemed my self: I removed the offending photo-then as replacement for her Ice Cream bars, I purchased her two boxes from Safe Way for her to eat exclusively for her self. Ok, Ok, I am overly morally weak, so in the stead of lowering my lowly hairy body into a vat of boiling oil {as that of a Teuton} I instead, opted for lowering by loused stinking hairy body into a vat of bath water. Upon return out of the bath water, I then presented my loused useless hairy {now klean} body to her. She continued watching her tele programm of the {Waltons}and I re-dressed for the day. I think I need one of those vile alcoholic drinks to think over this Charles |

charles,
Having been married for 15 years now, I have come to the conclusion that there are some situations that can not be remedied, only agitated. My suggestion to you is to use your wedding picture as your screen saver and never mention "the incident" again.
If this doesnt work my brother mike has a nice boat at dagmars marina and he would probably take you fishing if you bring some red hook beer.
