Very understandable Jaga. The line between artistic photography and nude erotical material is sometimes thin. I understand that Proboards has to maintain a decency policy, and has to maintain some ethics and moral rules. I am sorry if I have caused you trouble.

If the Proboards message means that aristic postings or some free expressions are censored, than that will be a sad measure and limitation of free speech and gathering on the internet. Clear is that I will avoid Nude or scarsely dressed women and people in general. The focus in this Forum by the way (in my opinion) is on other topics and subjects!

Clear is that I will avoid Nude or scarsely dressed women and people in general. The focus in this Forum by the way (in my opinion) is on other topics and subjects! Pieter Feel badly not, for this is an example of American puriten feelings of indigination of veiws of the human body that do not conform by proboard set rules. It is not the fault of Jaga, for she is still European and understands the difference between art form and porno. The lady in question was dressed from neck to toe, it was transluscent for the attachment of her outer garments to be attached for as a flowing manner to drape around her body form. There was not any porno as meant, it was a very nicely done measure from some house of design. There was no view of her breast nipples, nor of her lower portions. She was covered. If proboard people are offended, then perhaps they best stay away from the beach with young ladies trotting about wearing very little in the manner of bikinie bathing suits. For they are very readly displaying some very revealing body parts for public display, and,,no censership. Museums with the assets to aquire, will display greek statues with out any vestiges of clothing even to the male appendages on display as plain as the nose on their faces. Yes, my self, offended by these simpletons of left over puriten church table pounders. For what they are insenuating to us, is: The Forum is European with European based membership, and we do know what we are doing...But they know more then what we know and wish to spank our butts for being out of line in with their model of considered decency... Yes, I an angry, yes I understand where these people are coming from, no, I do not agree with them. For in their manner is a very large amount of confusion, and that confusion is: Confusing stupity as intelligence. What I suspect is this, Proboard recieved a complaint and has followed up to answer the complaint. Other wise if not to do so, would place them in a position of liablity of non action. To censer your self, would in essence be an admittance to fault, and you were/are not at fault. Withen the body of my reply, is perhaps a bit strong, but in this manner, there has not been any appology offered to you as a valued forum member. Karl

Yes, It is American puritanism. We will not see this change in the future. I face the same trouble with some interesting postings that some friends share from "I Fu**ing Love Science" that I simply cannot share with young family members because of the ill-chosen title of the web page. Yet the topics presented often are great for children as well as adults.
So enthusiasm won out over addressing a broader audience, an audience that would be well served by the excellent articles.
I wonder if Pro Boards took note of the photo because a member (some 1400+ members!!) took note, or if a search bot noted the commentary following the photo, and flagged someone remarking on the photo.
An advantage of not posting semi-naked ladies, as beautiful as they are, is that any mother can allow her children to search this forum for information on their Polish Heritage. In other words, by keeping this forum family rated, we expand our potential audience and better serve the Polish public and history.

Pieter,
you never caused any trouble, it was my post about Joanna Krupa and then rest of you try to become active. I am also curious why Proboards took a note. I guess, our forum is important, in the past we had a member paying for some of advertisements to proboard. I think, they have probably a word check and control.

Jaga,
Thanks for your reply. I understand that advertisers want a safe and decent Forum when they have their ads on a platform. I didn't feel offended, because I posted Joanna Krupa's image, to show the fact that she is used to dress scarsely. Your comment on that was comical and funny. I saw wat pornographic ads and agressive spam can do. The other Polish Culture Forum on Proboards was hijacked by spammers. And it became a filthy dustbin of trash posts.
Proboards and other Forum providers try to avoid such circumstances!
Cheers, Pieter
