Dear Barbara,
I am so sad to hear the news of the passing away of Robert. He was a great forum member and a much appreciated participant on this Forum. I knew about his bad health condition, because he wrote about it. And about the care his wife and daughter gave him. I think the love and fondness was mutual. People here like (d) him. He talked about his Spanish wife, his great hobby (Astronomy and telescopes), his building of scale model ships in wood. We will miss him overhere. He had friendships with several forum members. It is moving to hear from you that he loved this site and us. Some of us put a lot of energy and dedication into this forum. Others read more and reply to posts of others. And that is okay. Bob was a regular visitor. He was one of the Old Guard people on this Forum. People who were here from the beginning.
I loved Bob's sense of humor, his putting things into perspective, and how he enjoyed life and the things he loved. I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences with the loss of your father. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies with you and your family.

Barbara,
we will miss Bob greatly. Bob had lots of sense of humor, he was interested in astronomy, stamps and Polish culture. He was gentle and respectful. I knew that he was sick but I did not realize that it is so bad. It is so grateful that he wanted you to share this message with us. I hope that he died peacefully without suffering that much. Please, take care of yourself and your mother. Bob was always attached to his Polish and Spanish (your mother) roots. He posted some messages about Spanish traditions of Lent and Easter which we all enjoyed. Unfortunately he is not the first member of our forum to leave us. I hope we will meet each other finally in heaven.

Dear Barbara
Thank you for your thoughtfulness in your post of your fathers passing. I was not happy to hear of this, but very grateful to you for posting as to your fathers wishes. Yes, he will be very much missed by my self as with us.
I was not aware he was so sick, although noticed his absence at times. I will not add to your burden of loss at this time, but to say I am so sorry to hear of your father, it will take a bit for this to sink in. For my self am very stingy, I do not let go of my friends easily

Dear Barbara,
I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. His active time on the forum brought us a range of topics and ideas that have been missed as he became less active with time, although it was always refreshing to hear from him when he mustered the strength to share his observations and fascination with our universe.
In the sadness of your loss, I wish you many smiles as you remember many happy times you and your family shared with him.
Ron (Kaima)
