My great grandfather was born in Poland on the 22nd of February 1887 and immigrated to the US in 1912. Many of his immigration and other documents list Russia/Poland as his home, but some have specific misspelled places. One was Lesczevak Russia (which a friend helped me translate to Lesczewek, a very likely candidate since my oldest living relative knows only we were from "the Russian part") but I am struggling to find a translation for Lesrzevel Poland, which is on some other documents.
Any help is really appreciated! I've tried to go through lists of towns in Poland for something that sounds similar but have found nothing. I'm going to Poland tomorrow (In Berlin now), and after having a friend translate the first town for me I am inspired to change my trip to visit these places.
(Ps, sorry for the early post, accidentally hit the post button)

Kuba, your gradfather was probably from Leszczewek: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leszczewekwhich is located in northeastern Poland near boarder with Lithuania. I tried to post a message yesterday but something happened and it was never recorded. Sorry for the delay
