Ian , I like the Museum art one. When I first looked at it it looked like a red gumby peering around the corner and quizically looking at (?) someone just like him. And I got a chuckle out of your title babciasaurus. jpg.

Ian
Good photos! Some comments:
1. I like street scenes with people in their natural state of habitat.
2. Good groups shot with your friends of 40 years! A precious time for all of you once more to be gathered. Time passes overly swift and life is too short.
3. Your ladies, to look their sweetest to the one they love best, and that is you!!
4. Good mug shot, but how were you to hide your photo number identification plate?
5. Were you not listening at the pre-travel briefing? That bald shoddy dressed seedy fellow seated on your left? He is a known and recognized pick pocket. Have you checked for your gold watch yet?
Ok, your black market address book with the gold embroidered pages listing the numbers of those hat check ladies?
Mr. Ian, now really, what are we to do with you??
Charles

I noticed all you guys have the same ties it appears. Is that an English tradition or is their a logical reason for that. It appears you are at a wedding but not all are dressed alike. Are you all in the wedding party.

Ian Excellent shots of London - I particularly like your photo number 5 down - that to me epitomises the London scene. Leslie

We were given the ties by the groom as they matched his own cravat, presumably. I think it was just the old school pals who got the ties. James (second left) was the deputy best man, would have been the best man but Ian had to consider his brother's feelings, and so he has the full wedding regalia, same as the groom. You can see all my shots from the wedding here - www.pbase.com/scatts/miscfriendsiantraceyI too like 5 down, Leslie. It is pretty simple but it is a good reflection of the better side of London. Chris, I'm sure Teddy Roosevelt knows your guys, Churchill perhaps not.

.....and I echo Charles thoughts. All fantastic fotos. I loved the one in black and white and just the brides bouquet in color. And gerber daisies , one of my favorites. The pink ties are a very nice additon and gesture.
Sadly I read of Winston passing away. He was such a beautiful cat.
My statues are Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas.

Ian, great pictures really. These photos with people's sculptures remind me the same street art in Scandinavia. It also remins me the famous Vigeland museum in Oslo which we saw in the middle of night (11 pm) and it was still quite lots of light there: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigeland_Park
